This thread will show my progress from this weekend of detailing my 2009 Honda Fit Sport it has 12900 miles and was not taken care of by the original owners. The water does not even bead on the complete car, below are some pics of the paint prior to tonight's wash.
Here is most of my arsenal of products from Meguiar's I picked up extra quick detailer, lambskin mit, firehose style hose sprayer, more hot wheels cleaner, microfiber sponges and 3/4" painters tape tonight after taking this picture.

Here are 3 shots of the paint prior to my washing tonight.

My wash regiment today was a long one for me since I watched a few videos that are referenced here on the forums. I used deep crystal wash in a separate bucket to clean my rims and tires. I used a mild degreaser on the inside fender wells and tires, then used hot wheel cleaner on the rims I let it agitate for about 10mins per tire/wheel well. Then I scrubbed each wheel well with a long brush, used my stiff bristle brush to clean the tires, and then my soft hand brush to clean the rims.
After doing each tire I moved onto washing the car itself, although it probably didn't help the cars exterior at all because I will be claying it tomorrow, I wanted to try out my new Gold Class wash. I must say it is by far the best car wash I have ever used, very lubricated easy on and off and a pleasant smell. I love how it worked the dirt off the vehicle very very easily, no more than two passes over any section of the car was necessary. I even washed the car twice because I was having such a good experience with the Gold Class wash. Afterwards I dried off the car with a diamond weave microfiber drying cloth.
The reason you see 3 buckets is simple, one is for my wheel washing (black bucket), one is car wash (gray bucket), and finally rinse (red bucket). I will post pictures tomorrow of the car in it's bare clean state before claying it. And then I will keep updating with more pictures as I test ColorX vs SwirlX to correct the minor webbing in my paint. And then as I wrap up my detail with a coat of Gold Class Liquid Wax.
