Well i was approached by the owner for a quick detailing of this car.
Paint was not too bad, but the interior was not too good ..
This is a family car, and to me looked like it`s been ignored pretty much since new..
As appointed with the owner, I decided to go for a good cleaning and work the paint by hand. -It was clear that the interior was the most time consuming part of this detail.
The process:
The car had a lot of stubborn asphalt stains, as well as rusted steel particles embedded from the studs on winter tires...
Cleaning:
Solvent/tar remover
Sovent/tar remover with soft sponge for asphalt stains
Car foamed with Hyperwash and allowed to soak
Wheels and rims cleaned with APC+ 4:1 and Wheel Brightener 4:1
Rims spritzed with Wheel Brightener 10:1 after brushes were used
Washed with Cobra MF mitt: Shampoo Plus and a squirt of Hyperwash
after this, the car was pulled inside the garage, and dried with Chamois and Water Magnet.
Almost done drying, I suddenly was reminded that french cars always hold a nice secret for a time pressed detailer...
-The back window can be opened. -And so I did:

-Decided to fix this inside.
APC+, soft bristle Brush, Last Touch and a lot of cotton towels was used..
Really tight spots in the hinges of this backlid, but I was able to get it close to 100%.
Used about 30 minutes on this area.
Clayed car with Last Touch 1:1 lube
Hood and wings had a few really shallow swirls -
Done with Cleaner Wax via PC
Rest of the car was hand waxed with Cleaner Wax, buffed befor the night
The next day I hand polished all painted surfaces with #7, and followed up with a coat of #26
Plastics exterior were dressed in #40
Interior:
Vacuumed
Everything cleaned with APC+ 10:1 and 4:1
Doorjambs and hinges done wiith APC 4:1
Slide Lock brush used on vents and speaker covers, with APC 10:1
Vacuumed again
Stereo Display and instrument cluster clear plastics cleaned/dressed in QID via foam applicator, buffed with MF
Plastics dressed in #40
Sorry guys, I need to learn to take more photos for the processes
here goes, Before/Afters:
