  • 2003 Vette

Today I showed a friend how to detail his vehicles. He had purchased a 110 DA, pads, 205, and NXT2. The process was pretty simple since the car was in really good shape. It has less 30,000 miles on the clock and I think he said he drives it less than 1,000 miles a year.
Since the car was already clean we started by claying w/smooth claybar, then polished using 205 on a W8207 and finally waxed with NXT. We did the wheels with Hot Rims Chrome polish.
It was raining when we started so I got no before pictures.
My friend has black 2003 CTS that he is going to do now that he has seen what claying & using 205 can do.
Sorry I didn't get more pictures but when we were done we were running short on time.

    Thanks for looking.

    Dave

Hey Dave, the Vette looks great!

You really made that yellow pop really well.

It is a beautiful car. It's a shame it gets driven less than 1,000 miles per year. I'd put that on that baby in a few weeks :-)

The vette looks great. The paint really pops. Hope to see before and afters of the CTS.

Nice work, Yellow vettes look incredible, especially when they are clean like that!
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

Vette looks great! I also like the way a yellow vette looks; at least, when they are clean.

Vette looks good. I know they don't vary much, but I like this body style in particular, good width and length.

Did you remember to pop up the headlights to wash?

Sounds like a good excuse to ask the owner to leave you with a set of keys

Yellow is such a detail friendly color. I wonder how hard it is to photograph before and afters as it makes it hard to show up swirls per say.

                    Great job on the car.
