Today I had the opportunity to detail this 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder in a very rare and brilliant Rossa Vik Red. Another very tasteful detail was the black chromed wheels which really made this Lamborghini look awesome
As you will notice in the photos, the vehicle had moderate circular and extensive fine hairline scratches all over. It was extremely filthy from the wheel wells to the tires, rims and calipers. The current owner has never had it properly detailed, it just gets wiped down by him with a California Duster. The first thing I told him to do after my service was to throw that sad looking duster away!
I chose to give this Gallardo a HYBRID prep since the owner said it had never been washed with water and he preferred that. So with that said I only pressure washed and cleaned the inner wheel wells, tires, wheels (Inner barrels incl.) and lowers of vehicle all the way around (Including the hex shaped grills all the way around). Once this was completed I pulled the vehicle inside and gave it a complete light mist of Last Touch. After the vehicle was lightly saturated to encapsulate the dirt, I proceeded to prep the vehicle washing it with ONR.
The vehicle then recieved its claying, D/A with a 4" LC white polishing pad and M205 followed by 2 passes of M21 with a D/A and a 4" LC blue finishing pad.....Exhaust was cleaned and polished with Meguiar's All Metal Polish, wheels were also coated with M21 and tires and wheel wells protected with Stoner Trim Shine.
These are some before photos showing the paint defects

Paint Protection Film failure as seen below also needed correction as well....

Nasty wheels, tires and calipers needes some TLC

Lets not forget the exhaust it was also filthy..

Finished photos with paint and PPF (Paint Protection Film) corrected

In this reflection you can see my next project......

My next project.....64 Vette for the Labor Day Cruise

Thank you for viewing my post.....Have a great day!
