97 supra and 03 cobra get cleaned up

Here's some pictures of a couple recent details we did.
1997 Supra TT:

Customer will be dropping the wheels off so I can refinish them before the sale of the car.





2003 Ford Mustang Cobra:














Process was similar on both:
ONR wash
Hand Dry
Clay (Meg's Mild Clay)
2 step polish using Menzerna's SIP and Power Finish
Topped off with Meg's M21 sealant

Headlights on the Supra:
wetsand with 1500 paper
wetsand with 2000 paper
Polish with M105 on cutting pad, followed by Menzerna SIP on polishing pad

Wheels On Supra:
Blackfire Finecut aluminum polish (didn't do much else, as I'm going to be fully refinishing them)

Wheels on Cobra:
Meg's Mag and Aluminum Polish

Both wheels were sealed off with Zaino CS-Clear Seal

Love, love, love the Supra. I've always wanted one. Gotta love a 3.0 liter 6 cylinder that can handle more than double the horsepower it left the factory with.

I told the owner of the Supra, he would get free details for life if he gave me the car .... he wants $35,000 for it though

the funny thing is that both cars have that potential, I have seen plenty of 600-750 HP Supra's and Cobra's with stock short-blocks, it's crazy!

And that is why I will continue to want a Supra, but will never be able to own one. It is amazing how much these sell for, even 12 years after the last one was sent over.

I would take that particular Ford over the Toyota, that doesn't happen very often but god do I love those cobra's.
