  • 2006 Grey Honda Civic, my first detail with G110V2

This is my first detail using the G110V2, way better then detailing by hand!

    Process:
    -Interior:
    Vacuum
    APC+ - 10:1
Ultimate Protectant<- This stuff is amazing

    -Wheels:
    APC+
    303 Aerospace protectant

    -Exterior:
    Gold Class Car Wash
    Clay
    M105 via LC orange pad
    M205 via Megs polishing pad
    M205 via Megs finishing pad
Blackfire Wet Diamond via LC blue pad

    Question:
When applying the 105 via the LC orange pad at times is was really hard to wipe the excess off, could it be because I am working it in for to long, not enough on my pad, etc.? Also if anyone couple please post a photo or direct me to a photo of M105 on a panel after being applied by a DA and right before the excess is wiped off by a microfiber this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Your Honda looks very good.
As to your question, I think you were working the product to long, and using to much. I never really experienced 105 being hard to remove.

That sounds about right. M105 really likes a clean pad, and most people simply do not clean their pads often enough when working on a project. This is where Ultimate Compound is, very often, so much nicer on a D/A - it's a lot more forgiving in that regard, and it still has plenty of cut.
