  • My 2004 Saturn Vue

Just gave it an ONR wash and UQW. I finally stopped being lazy and uploaded pics.

Nice job. I agree with Nick that blue does pop.

Thanks guys! The color was part of the reason I picked it out.

The only problem I have is that the wheels have some sort of corrosion on them that is white-ish and won't come off. I'm thinking of painting them matte black, I don't know... we'll see.

The Vue really pops. Great work.

Nice job, I can see why you picked that color

Love the reflection of the snow pile in the second picture.
My wife's TBSS has that same white corrosion, we're thinking of getting the wheels chromed.

ONR helped me keep my car sanity this past winter. It has definitely found a home in my kit. If we have water restrictions this summer like we did a couple of years ago, I'll still have a shiny car!

That's the color I wanted SOOOOO bad! But this is what I ended up with-

Have owned mine since new. Paint is hard as a rock, but holding up well. Can't bring myself to get rid of this one... fantastic drivetrain. Have never been crazy about the interior (too much cheap, hard plastic), but love the power, the economy, the seating position, and the comfort. It's a road-trippin machine.

Great job Garage!!! She looks like you spent all day polishing her!

I have to keep this thread away from the wifey, she has wanted a 1st gen Vue since they debuted and to this day gets excited when she sees or hears about one. She's contempt now that she involuntarily swapped my L200 for her Focus.

                    Thanks everyone!!!

Yeah, my father in law said it was something like "filiform" corrosion or something like that. I have no idea how to solve the problem. I was considering painting the wheels a matte black to give the Vue a more off-roady look but I'm not sure how to proceed with that.

That's the color I wanted SOOOOO bad! But this is what I ended up with-
Electric Green!!! I love that color too. I love all of the "electric" colors. They just stand out so nicely.

                    Wanna buy it for her?

I REALLY want a WRX hatchback. But, it's gotta be in WR Pearl Blue

Nice job, I can see why you picked that color
Thanks Daniel! The only thing I hate about the color is that it shows dirt and grime VERY easily... almost like black but not quite as bad.
