This past Saturday we spent part of the beautiful day donating some time to polish a very special RV.

This vehicle is the mobile unit for the non-profit organization Children's Dental Health Clinic.



This vehicle is used to provide basic and specialty dental services as well as oral hygiene education to infants, children, and adolescents from economically disadvantaged families.

At one time it had been dispatched to Louisiana after the Katrina disaster.

February is National Children’s Dental Health Month and this vehicle was well over due for some TLC.

The coach was very dirty and the fiberglass and lower blue painted area were badly faded. We first scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed with soap and water to get it clean. We followed the wash with Meguiars #84 to deep clean and polish the fiberglass. Once the fiberglass shined we topped it with a durable coat of #20. We did the same with the painted surfaces.



Here you can see the difference between the lower polished half from the upper half that had only been washed at this time.

After nine man hours we had a coach that the organization can be proud of. Not was it glistening in the sun but it was well protected from the elements.

jeez joe, just looking at the lower blue part turning darker and more rich as you go along is crazy. that thing needed to be worked on by you !
