    My mother does the towel thing too. Ugh. Her factory mats are pretty dang good looking though even after 50,000 miles!

    The car looks superb Nick! Nice work as usual!

      What the heck is that on the steering wheel of that Jetta?? I thought those went out in the 70's.

            In the summer it is known as the finger tip burner. Those plastic covers are brutal on unsuspecting hands.

              Aww, come on now. That's common place in Illinois to use towels as floormats. You have the carpet, the carpeted floor mats, the rubber/vinyl floormats, with towels on top of those. The amount of junk that comes in your car after a snow...can't be too careful.

                There never is any crusty/salty carpet. Whatever he does works.
