Hello Mol'ers!,
its been a crazy new year, with job picking up alot, i just finished working with 2 production companies for the new comercials on the 2010-11 Vw Amarok and the Renault Megane, i was a fun 20 days of work on one and 7 days on the other, besides that, i had clients that i had to move to diferent dates.
while getting ready for a recording at a gas station, i saw this new Audi parked, it was black so i went up to it and gave my card to the owner, 2 days later a call from him and arranged a correction at his house the next morning, after arriving at his house, we start the inspeccion that turned into a nightmare after the wax removal. the owner had it "polished" by another crazy monkey and did this awsome work of art on his new car.. just take a look.. a pix worth a thousand words

Ha sido un nuevo ano a lo loco, con el trabajo aumentando muy bien, recien termine de trabajar con 2 companias para grabar los comerciales de los nuevos 2010-11 Vw amarok y el nuevo renault megane, fueron unos buenos 20 dias en uno y 7 dias en el otro, aparte de mover clientes a otras fechas.
Mientras nos preparabamos para una grabacion en una gasolinera, vi este nuevo audi estacionado, era negro asi que fui a darle mi tarjeta, 2 dias mas tarde recibo una llamada de el y nos agendamos para el proximo dia en su casa, comenzamos con la inspeccion la cual se convirtio en pesadilla despues de sacar la cera, aparentemente el dueno lo mando a pulir y algun mono loco creo esta obra de arte en su auto nuevo, solo vean una foto vale mas de 1000 palabras.
yes under the shade it didnt look to bad, but even in the low light you could see whats coming:....

si, bajo la sombra no se miraba malo, pero aun en la poca luz podemos ver lo que se venia....
So out went al the equipment and the 1st wash was in order.
2BM, Megs Mitt, APC, NXT soap and diferent brushes were used

Asi que sacamos el equipo y comenzamos con la primera lavada.
2BM, Megs Mitt, APC, NXT shampoo y algunas brochas fueron usadas.
then the car was dried with my MWM and pulled out to the sun for inspection, NICEEEEE:

El auto fue secado con mi MWM y sacado al sol para la inspeccion, LINDOOO.......:

Then the polishing started, due to audis rock paint, foam and rotary was used as a 1st step on 105, then foam on 105 on DA.

I ahi comenzo el pulido, por la pinturas duras de audi la rotatoria con espuma fue usada para dar el corte necesario.
this worked great but was leaving back lots of residue.

Funciono bien pero dejo sus rastros de polvo.
After finishing the 3 step polishing a 2nd wash was in order, same steps did the work, after drying the paint was sealed and the "Detailing the details" started.

Despues de pulir con 3 etapas ..una 2nda lavada estaba en el menu, las mismas etapas que el 1ero fueron usadas, despues vino el sellado con el sellador, y ahi comenzaron los "detallitos"
The exaust had to be hand polished.
el escape fue pulido a mano.
by this time i was working on conditioning the interior leather and vacuming, so i did not take any pics during, but one of the after.

I did not take pics of the taillights polishing, and glass rainx treatment so on to the finals. this is before and after

no tome fotos del sellado de vidrios ni del pulido de micas, asi que seguimos a los finales. aqui hay un antes y despues:
