  • Ferrari Dino 246 GT The beggining of a new life for this prancing horse..

I wanted to share this current project with others here on Meguiar's online. I was asked to provide my services today on a "Mild" restoration being performed on this beautiful 70's Ferrari Dino GT. The gentleman performing this job hired me to provide a complete undercarriage, chassis and suspension detail. As you can see the tire/wheels were removed and the Ferrari hoisted for the best access. The motor was completely removed by the owner prior to transporting it which gave us more room as well.
With a combination of degreasers, many types of brushes, steam and a pressure washer, everything was very thoroughly cleaned, degreased and ready for the restoration to begin. Here are some photos of the project, I took over 200 so I will add them a bit at a time.

The prep and bagging of components begins

All that work is a lot more fun when it is an amazing car like that one!!!!

Looking forward to the rest of the story.
