This was a job I had last Wednesday.
The lady in question e-mailed me inquiring about how oxidised paint could be rectified and would it be possible to get her car how it was when she first purchased it some few years back.
After many e-mails she sent some pictures to me and I wasn’t to surprised in its state as she took it through the car wash religiously every week, she loved it so much and loved it being clean, little did she know the damage that was being caused.
The date was set and off I went to collect it ( first time doing a collect and deliver service but seeing as though i have use of a unit now lol )
Unfortunately not many pics of the wash process, in fact, not many pics in total as I wanted to crack on.
Wash process included wheels cleaned with VP blue acid wheel gel, agitated with megs spoke brush and swissol style brush.
APC all knooks and crannies, agitate with brush then 2 bucket method with DG 901 and megs lambswool washmitt.
Rinsed then clayed with yellow poly clay and home made lube consisting of water and DG901.
Dryed and into the unit.
Here it is in all its pink glory.
All fragile areas taped ready for some intense polishing.
Heres the roof midst process.
And far less swirled up.
Bonnet under heavy work, it was so dull that it took lambswool and faraclae G3 to break it then refined down with LC polishing pad and power finish, finally menz final finish on finishing pad.
Ended up with some very nice 50/50 results, many came in and complimented.
Nice reflection shot in the unit. 2 coats of 476s.
All a pillars and hard to reach areas carried out with menz spot pads and power finish/final finish.
All trims done with CG new look trim gel, tyres /arches with carbrite reflect satin gloss dressing, glass cleaned with valetex glass polish, wheels sealed with supagaurd wheel sealant.
End results shocked even me, client was over the moon with the service and the car was beyond her expectations so contentment all round.
