  • 2005 Cadillac CTS

These are by far one of my favorite cars. This one was in pretty bad shape. It had swirls, rids and buffer trails all over it. It is one of my friends wifes car and they are gone on vacation and expecting a new baby girl any day now. I snuck into his garage and detailed the car for them. I was unable to pull the car outside to take pics due rain. I apologize for the picture quality. I really need a better camera.

    Process:

    Clayed entire car
Hit it with 105 on Megs double sided wool pad.
Polished it out with 205 on LC white finishing pad
    Topped with M26
    Tires are dressed in ASD.

    Before:

    50/50 shot of front fender(done) door(not done)

    After:

    Thank you for viewing.

        Wow, awesome job Tracy

That Cadillac is looking really good now that it is swirl and scratch free.

I had to say "Ouch" on some of those before pics. That was awful. That was nice of you to detail it for them. Stunning job!

The CTS really needed some tlc. Great work, Tracy. The Caddy looks fantastic. Way to go.

Thanks a lot for the nice comments guys. They picked the car up from the dealer like that. It was dark when they got it so they didnt see all the swirls and buffer trails.

Wow, what a transformation! Butchered is right - what a horrible thing to do to a nice car. At least someone did the right thing and brought it to you, Tracy!

Did you use a DA or rotary for the m105 w/ wool?

I used my rotary with the wool pad.

                          Very cool Tracy!!!

The finish was definately hammered. Great job straightening it out! Be sure to let us know what their reaction is when they get home.

Just got a call from the owner. They were ecstatic. They couldn't believe the difference.
