Hello Mol,
you probably remember this car that i was looking forward to work on due to having alot of damage from a tree landing on it, one of the worries from the owner was that he didnt want to repaint the car. So we worked on it for about 9 hours with my dad and bro that helped me with the exterior while my wife and sister helped on the interior. this paint impresed me by the hardness of the paint, normaly in other subarus the paint is really soft but here is were you see that one combo would work great for one car and the next it wont do a thing, i had 2 wrxs to work on, from the same year and same color code and the paint was soft in one and hard on the other one.here are some pics taken by the owner:

Probablemete recuerdan este auto que tenia ganas de trabajar por los danos que tenia al caerle un arbol encima, una de las cosas que preocupaba al dueno era que no queria repintar el auto, asi que trabajamos unas 9 horas con mi papa y hermano que me ayudaron con el interior y mi esposa y hermana con el interior, la pintura de este sub. estaba bastante dura, normalmente en otros subarus que he trabajado (el mismo modelo y codigo de color) han sido super blando (en correccion)

on to the begining pictures, we arrived at 9am to start working on the pacient, it was very dirty and needed alot of attention.
si, seria un largo dia de trabajo, comenzemos con las fotos: llegamos a las 9am a trabajar en el paciente, estaba muy sucio y necesitaba mucha atencion.
now here are some of the damages, they were alot but iam not going to fill up this post with 100 pictures of scratches jaja.
aqui estan algunos de los danos, habian muchos perno no llenare el tema con 100 fotos de rayones. jeje
after this inspeccion we moved on to the washing via 2BM, presure washer, microfber glove, various brushes and degreasers. once done we removed the rear spoiler to gain better access, side markers and front side vents were also removed.
despues de la inspeccin nos movimos al lavado, via 2bm, hidro, guante micro., cepillos y desengrasantes. una ves que terminamos se removio el spoiler trasero para tener mejor acceso, tambien las luces de intermitente y ventilaciones de freno fueron removidas.
After this the car was clayed, and dried with some last touch spray and drying towel.
despues el auto fue descontaminado, y secado con last touch y toalla de secado
Like always, each wheel was removed, degreased, detared, and sealed. suspencion was also cleaned and degreased.
como siempre, cada rueda fue levantada y sacada, desengrasada, se le saco la brea y sellada. componentes de susp. tambien fueron desengrasados y lavados.
now we were able to see the condition after wash, sorry but my camera just would not focus on this color.
ahora podemos ver mejor la condicion despues del lavado, lo siento pero mi camara me da problemas en enfocar el azul.
the car was pulled in the shade and then we tried some products to see what would be the best combo,
el auto fue movido bajo techo y despues probamos diferentes productos y tecnicas para ver el mejor combo de correccion.
For correccion i moved to a wool pad for faster cutting.
para correccion me movi a una borla de lana, para corte rapido.

this gave us excelent results for the correccion. so while i worked like crazy on the paint, the exaust was hand polished:
Esto nos dio excelente resultados asi que mientras seguimos como loco en la pintura, el escape fue pulido a mano:
i started working on polishing the hood when all of a sudden my polisher turned off, i thought i would have to come back another day with a new polisher but heres what we found:
Comenze a pulir el capot cuando mi pulidora paro de funcionar, pense que necesitaria volver otro dia con pulidora nueva, pero despues de un rato cambiando enchufes y moviendo cables, esto encontramos.
so out went my dad to find some brushes.
asi que a mandar a pedir mas carbones.
engine recieved a wipe down also:
el motor recibio una limpieza rapida tambien:
i was getting kind of lazy with the interior shots but now more will me coming:
me he puesto flojo con las fotos interiores en los otros posts pero ahora pondre mas:
taillight and headlamps were also treated:
