  • 2005 Volkswagon Jetta

Just finished up this Jetta, This was an exterior detail only. The owner just wanted a wash/clay/AIO. Washed it with Gold Class, clayed it with Mild Blue Detailing clay, I followed that with the G110/W8207/M66 combo. The tires are wearing All Season Dressing, as well as the wheelwells.

It sure would have been nice if the sun popped out, would have liked it to be a bit warmer as well.

          Thanks Colin,

It seemed it got colder by the hour. It was in the early fifties in the afternoon but then later on it got down to the lower 40s. Not very fun to detail in as you could imagine

          Thanks!

I was actually trying to get all the water off with the sheeting method. But as you can see the roof did have extremly little or no protection. The rest of the car beaded up a little bit but not that much.

Yeah, not fun when its cold out. I've washed my patrol car when it was below freezing. I kept slipping on the ice created by the runoff. If I didn't move fast enough, the water would freeze on the car and I'd have to spray it till it melted so I could keep washing! The things we do to have a good looking car.

Great work on the VW. The cold temps sure makes a person hustle and keep moving. Way to go, Nick.
