I never have problems with the backing coming off of my pads. Did you use a PC on this polishing job?

I tryed but I could only hit the top of it.I did this job with the part on the car.Im going to do a set of Ls1 valve covers for gmmg soon.I would love to get a grinder and set up for polishing prolly will soon.How do you like the gto?I cant wait to see what gm does with it (judge) or 6ltr. engine.Whats the latest rumour?

I'm very happy with the GTO. It is a better daily driver than the TA is. It rides better over potholes and has a more comfortable interior. The performance is close stock vs. stock. The GTO has a better launch and the TA has a better top end. The GTO has more power but weighs more, and it is supposed to be better in the snow.

The WS6 still has the edge in looks though. The sleeper look of the GTO grows on you though, and the cops don't tend to notice you. The ironic this, that with non-metallic paint and the WS6 hood, the TA is very hard to pick up on Ka band radar. I verified this in controlled tests.

I do wish the GTO had polished or chromed wheels. They will be available as a dealer installed option on the '05s and they are available for '04s too.

The LS2 in the '05s will have 400HP, it's the same engine as in the C6 Vette! 0-60 time is 4.6 seconds for the auto!

I wonder if or when a judge will be offered?I heard there going to add scoops.I hope they do something with the car and not just let it die.

Hood scoops arrive in '05. There has been some talk of a judge model.

They showed an orange concept GTO a few weeks ago in Autoweek. A judge model would probably look similar to it. BTW it had 500+ HP!

The GTO will be redesigned in '07.
