Here's one I did with a Metabo and D151. Products used was D151 for correction with SB 2.0 cut pad + SB 2.0 polish pad, I also used 4" Uber pads (detailerdomain) for smaller panels and tighter spots. Car got Poorboys White Diamond Glaze after D151 (I didn't let D151 haze over, and I also did a full IPA wipedown on each panel).

Was a present to some friends of mine that got married - the owner didn't recognize the car when she came to pick it up... Spent a total of 13 hours including washing / degreasing / claying.

    Befores:

Level of correction on this car - left side untouched, right side after 1 round with cut-pad - not much gained with an additional pass, and as I didn't have a paint gauge I didn't dare push it further:

    Some afters:

Tires didn't get any particular TLC as I ran out of time, but I've promised them do put a "winter-coat" on the car (#21 2.0 and #16) so I'll do them then.

Hope you liked what you saw

Thanks all for stopping by and commenting - much appreciated. This car was the very first car I did with a rotary this summer. Lined up is a black Porsche Cayenne S, blue Opel Zapira OPC, blue Nissan Primera SXi, silver Mitsubishi Pajero, green Golf V - and maybe (if done with paintwork later this winter) a fully restored hemi orange 1972 Dodge Challenger 340 R/T (not matching numbers, but as close you can get I think).

Gotta say I love the versatility of D151 - finishes great, decent cut and overall good product. Stepping it up a bit now with the 105/205-combo - next car is due this weekend (if the flu doesn't interfere)

Yeah - could've been a bit more creative in positioning the car though, but where the car was parked afterwards (last picture) the owner just walked past it two times not recognizing it

She went and I did a

That is too funny, her not even recognizing her own car.
