Nice job. I love the makeup cars for buying and detailing; the interiors look really awful, but are some of the easiest to clean.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments.

I wish I had the confidence and experience to detail an engine bay like that.
I'd rather do five engine bays than a triple buff on a single car's finish.

what was your process for the side pillars? my neighbor has a bmw that model that needs some tlc... was thinking of hitting it with m205 or m105

I wouldn't doubt your abilities, or over inflate mine. Engines are pretty easy, it is really all about the products you use. I used APC+ to clean and All Season Dressing to make it shine. Most people get really cautious using water on the engine, but I have never worried to much. Engines get wet, it is really just the direct pressure that I avoid. Then it just comes down to meticulous wiping, scrubbing, and brushing. Just go for it!

I totally agree. Plus the results are much more obvious to the untrained observer.

I used M83 on the pillars. I have had really good results with both 80 and now 83 on the type of material. I then treated it with ASD. Also, 80/83 are much less expensive than 105/205.

            Thank you.

That is an amazing transformation. I bet your friend wouldn't have gotten such a good deal if he had bought it after the detail.
