My kids were begging to help wash and wax the Vette today, so I gave them some instructions, and turned them loose!!
They had lots of fun, plus the car looks great!!

It's always good to get them started when they are young!
I believe Lynn Phillips told me that Mike began detailing at age 16.

Not too many kids get to learn how to polish paint on a 1970 Corvette Stingray Roadster, let alone a black one!

It's too early to post the sign up sheets but there will be clinics for Mother's Day and Father's Day Detail Days at Meguiar's.
Should be a fun way to spend the day with the kids and teach them a little about car care at the same time.Lynn MatthewsComment

My daughter, who is now 12, has been helping to wash and wax the cars for awhile. I have pictures of her "helping" when she was 2. My son, who is 8, is always asking to help around the house, and he truely enjoys a job well done.
This was their first time using the PC. My daughter applied the wax, and my son buffed it off, using the Ultimate Bonnet, of course! They both did a very good job, plus they had fun (a sickness caught from their father???).
Maybe I can get the whole family to take part in a Father's Day detailing clinic!! Hmmm, now if I can only get my wife involved........
