  • My '08 CBR 600RR

This isnt really my latest detail work because I no longer have the bike. Between my whining about not having a dirtbike and the close calls with other drivers on the road and my wife and daughter telling me i need to get rid of it before i kill myself she had to go. However spent countless hours waxing and detailing spent on her.

Just before my final ride to the dealer.

I miss my bike. Seeing yours brings back memories...

I'm set up a development rider for ICON. He used to send me prototype stuff to try out when I still had my R1. Now that I sold my bikes my roommate gets all the good stuff.

He just emailed me a funny Youtube video today for their casual gear. Pretty funny actually. Search "ICON - Speed Cretin vs. Icon Casuals" if you feel like checking it out.

Don't think you will ever see motocross gear though.

Thats a shame you have to get rid of it, but its understandable about the safety part. That is the reason why I never got one.

Looks great though, still a shame you had to get rid of it.

LOL, no not ricky Carmichael. He is one awesome dude though. I have met him a couple times and the year after his teamate Ernesto Fonseco was injured we were at Red Bud for the nationals and had some pictures of him and Fonseca together so I gave them to him. In turn Ricky took me into his factory Honda rig and showed me around and gave me all kinds of goodies including a pair of his goggles that he autographed for me. I enede up spending most of the afternoon with Ricky and his mechanic. For the last 6 years I have had all Hondas until 08 when i bought a KTM.
