  • UK rare bread mg x power sv

Ive been carrying out some work for a friend who works at a local mg dealer.
He saved this beauty just for me.
Now the down side is there wasnt any correction work ( main stealers just wont pay )which i was dissapointed with but the main thing is i got to detail it.
Job entailed full and thorough clean with supagaurd painte sealant and fabric gaurd kit applied.
    Here she is.

Wheels and callipers cleaned with ph neutral wheel cleaner, swissol style brush and megs spoke brush.

    And after.

All knooks and crannies sprayed with DG apc and aggitated with swissol style brush.

Washed top to bottom with DG901 and megs washmitt then rinsed.

Dried using megs waffle water magnet and valetpro citrus bling.
paint felt very smooth so removed any little traces of tar with tar and glue remover.
Polished by hand then applied supagaurd paint sealant to whole of vehicle including wheels, left for 1 hour as stated by manufacturer then removed.
Here is the finish after SG.

The guy had some megs nxt wax in the boot so i put a layer on to make the finsh a touch more glossy and durable, left this to cure while i tidied the interior ready for the SG fabric gaurd.
All surfaces cleaned and wiped down with DG apc, dustied and vented with various brushes and a serious vac of whole interior, applied SG fabric gaurd.

There was so much exposed carbon fibre which looked very rugged and fantastic.

Went back to exterior to remove wax and polish the tails pipes.
Tailpipes polished with megs nxt metal polish and wire wool.

    Heres the finished article.

    Thanks for looking.

    Nice work Scott.

Pretty loud kit on that MG. Looks like a lot of money stuck on it.

Its not a kit, thats the actual body made out of carbon fibre.
No customised parts what so ever, all 100% genuine factory car.

Great work, Scott. The paint really pops. Awesome rims.

Nice work. crazy looking car too. Looking at it I thought it was a Dodge concept because of the front cross hairs.

I thinks thats the 2nd time I seen this kinda car (online *LOL*). Cool car. But wheels are a tad small. Wheel arch has too much room. Put some bigger and/or wider wheels gives a better overall look, IMHO.

Anywho, great work on the car Scott.

Absolutely sensational! It appears your command of this little detail brush leaves nothing more to be desired.

Question- did you dab at the emblem, wipe back and forth or use a twisting motion?

Had no idea there was an MG like that. Still a lot of poppy.

The design on the back with the round taillights is the best part for me

Ive got about 3 of these on the go for different tasks, it wasnt the same brush just the same size.
As for the brush work i twisted it.
