Gang,
Here's our Neon, it had bad swirls/water spots and it was neglected too long and I finally got to her. Pictures aren't as great as I was pressed for time as the day before it rained on me!
Process:
Wash - GC Car Wash
Clay - Meguiar's Clay kit
M95/M105/M205/M66 - 8007/8207/9207 pads
Do Do Juice Banana Armour wax - Yellow for warm colors such as our Neon
M40 - Tires
Eagle 1 - Tire cleaner
Hot Rims Multi Piece wheel cleaner
Daytona Brush for wheels - Gotta buy this one gang!
Befores: Sprinklers with hard water are not nice, some swirling too!

Yikes!

It rained the day before, not a lot but enough to disrupt anything I wanted to do to the car for the day, the rain was welcomed though, pretty dry up here.

I bought this Daytona Wheel Brush from AG and tried it out for the first time today. It's a tough brush, comes in a great package for storing and rinsing in hot water and hanging springs the bristles back to their original state. It's really flexible for gentle scrubbing but strong enough to get rid of the grime!

I use Eagle 1 all wheel/tire cleaner for my tires, a bottle goes a long ways and it really melts any and all dressings on your tires! This is right after spraying the tires!

The Daytona Brush in action:

After a good rinsing, the NXT 2.0 is still doing it's thing and after a flood rinse, it really rolls off!

After washing, before claying, the water spots are still present, although not as bad:

I don't have a garage or shade gizmo, so I was parked in the driveway or on the front portion of our lawn under the trees!

This is after M95 (2 passes, just didn't like how it was reacting), then 2 passes of M105 followed by 1 pass of M205.....I like it!

I like this reflection shot: looks better in person, not the greatest camera.....

As the sun swung around to my area, the surface of the paint got a bit hot and I kept having to move the car around.....105+ on the surface wreaked havoc on my products!

After my polishing session, decided to try M66 for a final polish prior to waxing. I put it on a 9207 and speed 4 worked it in and let it be then wiped.

I took the rear wing off as Hemin8r did with his SRT Neon, seemed like a smart idea.....

Okay, here's the Do Do Juice Banana Armour wax. I wanted to try it out. It's a lot like M26 and a lot more money. It spread easy and wiped easy enough and the jury is still out on longevity, durability and looks. I really like my Meguiar's waxes and M26 is really similar to this at about 1/3 of the cost. But the Do Do Juice is popular and I wanted to check it out. AG sells samplers of their Do Do Juice waxes.

The wax looks like it's really thick, but it's not, trust me, I hardly put a dent in the 1oz tub of Do Do Juice wax. I took this in the sun and it came off very nicely!

After wax removal:

Some afters:

I did put the wing back on, trust me! LOL

I was pretty strapped on time and didn't get as much done on the paint as I wanted but now that I'm going back to day shift at the ol' lockup. My time can be better used on the car, rather than sleeping. For a car that is almost 5 years old with 70,000+ miles on the clock and a daily driver with a teenager driving it a lot for errands for us, it looks pretty dang good to me
.
Do Do Juice waxes: I like how it worked, it's pretty soft and easy to apply and remove. The jury is still out as I mentioned. I think with Mike going to AG, I thought of trying other stuff out for giggles. My heart will always be with Meguiar's and this Do Do Juice wax is similar to M26 and M26 is1/3 of the price. I loooovvvveeeee M26(paste). Would I buy more? not sure yet. It's popular but kinda spendy for me at the time and just can't beat the price of Meguiar's waxes in my book. I think I'll try Pinnacle next as Mike did a great write up on AG on a Lexus.....
Daytona Brush: You guys have to get one if you miss your yellow spoke brush. My last spoke brush fell apart like a tree losing leaves. I was heart broken and found a replacement! Works great, a little spendy but it's pretty tough. It's gentle on your wheels but tough enough to get the grime off!
Overall, it was the first time I really used M105/M205 on a car. I am not the most patient person and I know that a miracle in a bottle just isn't going to be there, you have to work it and procedure is the key. I had trouble with drying as flakes flew everywhere but conquered that part, kinda like M83 if you will. M105 doesn't like heat either at least a dry heat as up here in No. California. M205 stays wet as long as you want it and the finish is brilliant! I used my W68DA backing plate with 8207/8007 pads and it worked great on my G100, I used a ton of pads dialing a process in but I had fun for once as the Neon has a hard as nails clear coat and finding a product with some patience, works great! Hooray for M105/M205!
and M-P128 too! (M=Meguiars - P=Patience - 128=Ounces) Not available in 32oz size.....

Thanks for looking!
