  • Honda Accord- Wedding Car Detail

Here's one I did quite some time ago. Thought I'd post it as it was one of the earlier cars which I did for a cousins wedding.

The results are quite impressive considering only M80 with an ROB (Bosch GEX-270AE) was used for correction followed by NXT Tech Wax and UQD.

    Lets get started.....

Some shots of the car before. This was before my cousin was 'educated' in the proper car care procedures.

    M80/W8006 with a Bosch GEX-270AE ROB.

Removing the NXT Tech Wax. (Model posing with NXT bottle and microfiber towel.)

    Some after shots.

Reflection shot. The faces have been blurred to protect the identity of those involved. The dog did not object to having its picture taken so was left untouched.

On the road on the day of the wedding.

    Final touches with UQD.

Quite impressed with this final tracking shot.

Thanks for looking. Comments and feedback are most appreciated.

Thanks guys. This one came out really nicely. Now I wished I had taken more pictures. Will be doing the same car again within the next few weeks. Should be interesting to see what the condition is after 2 years.

Well, looks like I need to get me some M80. Have been contemplating it for a while, but needed that extra push. Glad you got results!

Two weeks ago, I did the same car (03 Accord Sedan), except in silver, and speed 5/6 w/ m105 & m205 on the yellow SB2.0 polishing pad did nothing for correction. Maybe 10% correction at best. Either I need to smash my G110, or I need to junk my always-disappointing m105 .

              Thanks for sharing .

HAHAHAHAHAAHA...... actually the dog had an eye problem at that time. Hence the headgear. Should have blurred out her face also.

M80 with the ROB can do wonders for cars with light defects. If the scratches are any deeper you may need something stronger. M105 w/rotary is amazing for correcting severe defects. Not too sure how well it works with a ROB. There are those who have gotten amazing results with 105 on a DA but I have only used it on a rotary.

Re: Honda Accord- Wedding Car Detail

The 03 Accord sedan was about 1/2 as "bad" as the one you did . I guess the trick is to change pads (I am anxious to put my new Lake Country Orange CCS pads to use), or to change polishes. I'm not ready to change machines just yet. Anyway, great work!

Sorry I couldn't resist, I love watching a dog trying to eat with those on very funny.

I am sorry to tell you this, but given the scenario you described, you are not going to see any improvements with M80 over the M105 in terms of defect correction. Period.

Sorry to thread jack, but google "Surbuf Pad paired with M105 and PC is a defect killer!", and click on the first result. Look for a post initiated by the user Kevin Brown.
