I"m not putting down GM's, but which ones. I have a 99 Olds and its not to bad, but i have done a dark blue Envoy and 2500hd also dark blue. They both had orange peel and seems like acid rain really effects them. I had alot of etched in water marks on both and both were only a year old. I have also done a MGC pickup red and tan 2 tone with orange peel.
I just wish these motor co. would put some money and effort into their paints like more of the high end companies do.

    Just my opinion.

Nice job on the truck scrub. You just have to hate that OP. Thats what it's like on my Olds. But mines that Silver Mist and not as noticeable as black. The 2 dark blue one that I did were about the same if not a little worse. What made them look really bad at first was all the Acid rain etching. I'll see if I have any pics to put up.

Thanks... I wish I had the (you know) to try and wet sand and buff my friends truck. I wouldn't even think to try on my own truck! I'm looking forward to your picks.

Nice job on the SD! Those out of the trucks on the market are my favorite, especially the XL models.

2hotford, your truck is just, in a 1 word description, shiny That grey chevy in the reflection of your door looks like it could use a detailing, lol AR

My 03 F250...Ford True Blue Metallic.....has an amazingly smooth paintjob also.

This was the day after it brought it home...its first bath. There is no wax, polish, etc.....

                    Welcome Chaotik,

Nice f-250. Doesn't it make you wish that ford and other manufactures can produce a smooth paint on all their cars. Apparentlly its not that hard to do if they can do it on a work truck.
