.... those are some great results

you could try to shake the bottle of the NXT before pouring it on the pad...
and also try a wipedown with UQD, and then if you are really car crazy use the UQW too afterwards...

Thanks Mike, I applied it thin as shown in picture #2 using a finishing pad and speed 4 on the G110. After applying to the entire car, I let it sit while I removed the tape, cleaned the cracks, crevices, and glass, applied tire dressing, cleaned up my supplies, etc. I would estimate that the NXT 2.0 was allowed to set up for 2 hours before removing with a pair of clean Supreme Shine MF towels.

Any chance you may not have gotten all the polish off beforehand? Very odd that you're getting streaking from a very thin coat of NXT that dried that long. It's also doubtful that anything is actually "wrong" with your bottle of NXT - we would have heard complaints from many people were that the case, and we just aren't.

The product isn't lumpy or watery after a good shaking, is it?

It's also doubtful that anything is actually "wrong" with your bottle of NXT - we would have heard complaints from many people were that the case, and we just aren't.

M205 is the final polish that I used, and I wiped all of it off with microfibers. I did not do an IPA wipedown before applying the NXT 2.0 though; this is a suggestion that I came across after I finished working on it last Sunday but haven't had a chance to try. Is an IPA wipedown required or suggested before application? I'm still new to polishing, thanks for your help!

I shook the devil out of the bottle for several minutes before using any, and also kept shaking it as I went around the car. I didn't notice any lumpiness or watery texture, the consistency was very consistent () but it did seem "runny" after working with the M105 and M205. It would pour out of the bottle in a very thin stream when it was tipped over, I did not have to squeeze at all to get it to come out. In comparison, I had to squeeze out the M105 and M205 from the ADS sampler bottles and they would create drops if I held the bottle far enough from the pad.

An IPA wipedown is NOT required nor should it even be necessary. And if it was running out of the bottle easily, without squeezing the bottle, that does indeed sound quite thin. Don't ever expect it to be as thick as M105/M205 - and don't expect those to be as heavy as D151 - but it shouldn't be as thin as you described.

I have the same problems with NXT 2.0 as well. I switched to M26 and actually prefer the look.

That's how ALL Black Cars/Trucks should look. Unfortunately, not everyone is as motivated as you are to make yours look its best. Great Work!!
