This is a 1930 Pierce Arrow with very fragile paint especially the black. The mission was to remove the dried white wax from all the cracks in the paint from a previous detailer. Than improve the gloss and DOI without causing any damage to the loose paint.
The process

The cracks are still there but I was able to do a descent job of hiding them.
The process
- Wipe down with #34 and note areas that could be improved
- 105 DA on hood, doors and rear of car
- 205 DA on same
- 205 DA on Black where paint was ok
- Used the Tornador with # 34 to remove the old wax from the cracks
- Turtle wax color magic black polish DA lightly over the areas with cracks
- # 21 on hood, doors and rear
- Final wipe down all over with UQW
- Westley’s Bleche-White on white walls

The cracks are still there but I was able to do a descent job of hiding them.
