  • My 2002 Lexus ES300

I don't think I have posted any pics of my Lexus in a while, if ever, so here are a few. I don't have any before shots, obviously because I keep it in great condition. I just got done doing a full detail on it yesterday though to try out a few new products on it. The paint is Black Garnet Pearl: It's a mix of Red, Burgundy, Purple, Black. Total Detail time was 8 Hours!

    Process:
Dawn Wash: 2 Buckets, Grit Guards, Microfiber Mitt

    --To remove all old Wax

    Clay:
Clayed entire car with Smooth Surface Clay and Last Touch 1:1

    Compounding:
M105 By Polishing Pad via G110

--No more than 2 applications needed for each panel
M205 By Polishing Pad via G110
--Really works great, I can tell it has a lot of polishing oils in it
    Polishing:
M07 Show Car Glaze By Hand

--This stuff is amazing, it really darkened my Paint!

    Wax:
    NXT 2.0 By Hand

--One thin coat on entire car
    M26 By Hand
--Really brings some gloss and pop!

    Finishing:
    M34 Final Inspection

--This is the best QD out of all of the Meg's Products IMO. Amazing Gloss and shine from it.

    Results:

    Sparkles/Flake:

Didn't bother shining the tires right now:

Thanks For looking at my ride

Looks brand new!!!! Awesome job! This is yours?? My dad has the same car in white. Question, engine detail easy on these? Or is there anything to look out for? And paint soft or hard? Im thinking of doing a little correction on his but debating cuz its pretty bad lol

Looks Great Megafast! Way to keep the interior of your car nice and clean!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

                    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
                    Remove swirls my friends.

This is MY actual car. My family has the GMC Van, Honda Civic, and my Dad's work car-- Crown Victoria.

The paint is kind of on the hard side, but nothing like a BMW or something. I never actually hosed down the engine bay, I wash it by hand with Super Degreaser. But everything is covered up on this thing and you shouldn't worry about anything. Just cover up any electronics/wiring with Aluminum Foil.

I applaud you for taking car of this car so well!! Like the color of it! Same color of my first car My dads is so bad its almost not worth cleaning, interior wood has swirls, carpet is trashed, and the front was it by a blown off 18 wheeler tire so the whole front is cracked and the whole thing has an insane amount of rock chips Its almost sad to look at close up

Love the color though, those flakes really pop!!
