Infinite Detailed - 2009 Corvette

    Infinite Detailed - 2009 Corvette

    KerriNJeff and I detailed a 2009 Corvette this morning. The vehicle only has about 4300 miles on it and had the typical spider webbing, bonded contaminants and dirty mats, nothing really out of the ordinary.

    Our process:
    gold class wash (2 bucket)
    Clay
    205 (PC and Flex w/ green LC)
    NXT
    #26
    Gold Class leather cleaner conditioner
    Trim detailer
    Hot rims
    Gold Class Tire Gel
    Interior extracted (LGM)
    and a new helper, Kerri from KerriNJeff!

        She looks AWESOME. I'm pretty sure I have said this before, but MAN I love those stock wheels... if I could get exactly those on my Focus I would die a happy man! (Trust me, I looked...I got the closest thing I could find...)

              Nice use of 205! I see more people using it with more aggressive pads than the typical white or black and achieving a great finish. Did you polish the inside cover by machine as well?

                No, the waterfall was just QD'd and NXT. That's one of my favorite shots. Thanks for the compliments guys, much appreciated!

                      Thanks for the nice comments guys. It's amazing how much bonded contaminants a new car comes with.

                      I can't say enough about how great M205 is. It is unrivaled in its clarity!

                          Since I have the exact same C6 Corvette cashmere interior what did you use on the carpets and hard plastics? I find the cashmere interior is really hard to keep clean.

                            The carpets were treated with APC+ @ 10:1 then extracted with a LGM (water only). Stains on the carpet were spot-treated with Meg's stain remover.

                            The plastics were cleaned with APC+ @ 10:1 then dressed with Natural Shine.

                            The carpets in particular will be difficult to keep clean and looking good due to the color. Good luck
