2007 Ford Mustang Saleen , do you like yellow?

Didnt know that yellow shines up this good. The owner said he waxed it a while back with the original NXT. When I went to wash the car with Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner it was beading pretty nicely. So after washing the entire car from top to bottom I gave it two coats of Ultimate Quik Wax and then shined up the tires with Gold Class Endurance High Gloss. I them made my way into the interior and vacummed it out then wiped everything down with Quik Interior Detailer and then dressed everything with Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant.

Not sure if this Mustang is different from the others but it had a fancy little signature on the top center console.

Some Natural Shine and a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will get rid of those pesky signatures on the dash!

Im not exactly sure whose signature that is. For the black stripe running down the hood all I did was wash and dry it. I tried some M40 but it just kinda smeared around and didnt really take to it very well.

Joel, yeah im pretty sure those are hood pins. Think they are for lighter hoods to keep from flying open?? Idk never actually hear the real use of hood pins haha

The signature belongs to Steve Saleen, owner and creator of the Saleen mustangs. His cars are similar to that of the Roush, take a stock Ford, and make is fly.

Nice Job!

It is the Parnelli Jones and Steve Saleen special edition model. Special in the sense that the car came with a 3V 5.0 V8 and alot of goodies that the standard/shelby models did not get. This is the only S197 chassis id really want.

they are hood pins and wire anchors. lighter hoods are notorious for flying up at high speed so those are there for added security.

Definitely Steves sig on the dash... if you erased that... man I feel sorry for you because that owner would literally kill you. You can always spot a Saleen by the numbers on the bumper on the drivers side. As for the flat black you cant detail it... you just wash it. Car looks great and I wouldnt be returning that back lol... Id atleast go for a ride as some payment lol. Thats actually a factory hood with the shaker hood scoop cut out... no need for the hood pins... looks tacky to me.... hood pins should only be used with carbon fiber hoods or very light weight aluminum hoods. My 04 terminator cobra as a light weight cowl hood that barely even ways 100lbs... I have to use hood pins... because if you slam the hood down to latch it you will dent it and that just looks awful. That yellow looks really good though
