Cant decide which floormats I like better

Taking out my stock mats that were in my truck. I will probably put them back in next winter but wanted your opinion on which of these two I should use, I bought both since I could not decide. One is rubber and the other is carpet.








Which do you prefer and why?

Rubber mats are for winter, go with the carpet ones until then.

Obviously the rubber floormats would clean up easy, So would the carpet ones as long as no major staining occurs. I might have to play with both sets, see which one I like better.

I like the carpeted one's at least for the summer.

I personally like carpeted matts better because it just detracts less from the interior. The rubber just sticks out to me. However, since Im in Texas and they are impractical for me if you have harsh winters and because you have both maybe do carpet for now and switch out to rubber when it is muddy and stuff?

Yeah, I'll try the carpet ones first. Might go see how the rubber ones look with some M40 on and excess wiped off.

Tough Choice...Both sets are really nice.

I'd just switch 'em around every time one set needs cleaned and have them ready for the next time.

I like the rubber ones better. They look better (to me) and they clean up easier. Just my two cents.

Carpet for the summer, spring, fall

Rubber (All Weather) for the winter

I like carpet, though I should probably get some rubber or plastic ones for the winter. I need to find a way not to drive this winter, I don't want to mess up my beautiful car.

Leave the stock ones in... I hate modifications to a vehicle. Stock is the way they should be left.

I actually buy carpet samples from a retail carpet store for about $1 a sample and sometime they don't even charge me. Plus I put two up front since there is more area to keep covers, plus another over the hump in the backseat floor to keep that all clean as well.

Maybe if I was in a more forgiving climate I would have something decorative, but with all the salt in the winters it's the carpet sample for me. Plus you can get colors to match your exterior to give some color to an interior.

I like rubber just because of how easy the are to maintain. Don't put M40 on them unless you want your feet sliding around on them or on your pedals.

With all rubber floormats I clean up. I always use APC+ then shine them with Supreme Shine Protectant. It gives them a really nice shine. It's actually not as greasy as you guys may think.
