  • Porsche Targa

I did a Porsche Targa over the weekend. Sorry I don't have tons of pics, but it was hot and I was tired from the 4th. Here's my process

Wash: Megs Hyper Wash with Squirt of ONR
    Wheels: Megs Multi-Piece Wheel Cleaner
Tires and Wheel Wells: All Purpose Cleaner with foam sprayer
    Dressed Tires: All Season Dressing
Exterior Trim: Gold Class Trim Detailer
Dressed Wheel Wells: Hyper Dressing 4:1
Windows inside and out: D Line Window Cleaner (The Roof Was Glass!)
Correction: 1 Pass of M105 on Megs yellow polishing pad
    Wax: NXT 2.0 by hand
    Plast X on headlights

    Vacuumed Interior
Cleaned off Interior Plastics with M39
    Dressed with M40
Cleaned leather and conditioned with D Line Leather Cleaner
Shampooed Carpets with Bissel LGM and APC+

    Enjoy

    Before:

    After:

Yeah I missed a smudge of wax, I cleaned it up after the picture when I saw it:

Sorry I forgot to snap interior pics.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

                  Great work Andrew.

It just looked so dull before with all those swirls. But you made it glow again.

Good job! How was the paint on that car? I always feel that 911's of that era has relatively good paint, but I am unable to confirm that as I have never worked on one before.

BTW Would you accept payment in the form of a ride in that car?

The paint was pretty hard, but in decent shape. Removing all the swirls made the rock chips more evident though.

Unfortunately a ride in the car wouldn't really suffice for a payment haha

I forgot to add I Clayed it too!!!!
