Tonight I've decided to detail and revive my old printer. It's been sitting in the darkest end of the shelf for some two years replaced by newer, shinier, fancier model. And today I got a call it would be needed.
I thought it would be easier but - for the sake of safe transportation and so - the printer was pretty much covered by painter's tape. And after two years the tape dried and left horrible glue marks. Here are some before photos.

As you can see it was also pretty dusted. I was wondering what to use to remove the glue and decided to try Bug'n'Tar Remover. Bingo!! It worked out great. I applied a thin coat on the glue spot, waited a few minutes and wiped clean. I reapplied on some difficult spots. Then I wiped the whole printer with Quik Detailer which also did its job. In the end I put some Natural Shine on all plastic elements. This is the final result.

I forgot to write that I also glued back the HP badge. And here is the last picture - 50/50 showing the effect of Natural Shine.

I must admit cleaning this printer was fun. Thank you for viewing.
