Camaro should still win; I have it set up to be pretty consistent and easy to run now. It's just stab-and-steer with the auto trans! Just heat up the tires, secure all loose objects, and try to keep your head from bouncing off of the headrest on launch.

BTW...I don't think he's kidding about your head bouncing off the headrest!! There are stress fractures in his back quarter panels from launching
Have you figured out a way to address that problem little brother...structurally and cosmetically??

Wonder what happened to the clear coat in that one area? That was the strangest thing I've ever seen! Mines a little dusty right now...don't tell Nick! I'll give her a bath this weekend, I can't get over how much easier it is to get the bugs off when there's a good coat of wax on the surface!

I have no idea either! it cant be a rock chip becuase the paint below is intact, maybe it is some weird type of clearcoat failure Lol a good wax makes life so much easier

Why thank you very much! It was very very bad, I still have work I need to do on it! Spent so much time doing the dash and doors and outside that I didnt have any time to shampoo the carpets

Okay...I take back what I said about your sister! I just saw the before and after photo's that you posted on July 4th...YIKES!! Let me just say that you're a very good brother and you did a great job bringing it back!!

LOL! Yea, it's funny how hand washing your vehicle makes you pay closer attention to the weather man...I just wish they'd do a better job getting it right sometimes

Don't be too hard on your sister though...I was the only girl with 3 brothers. Car "stuff" was a huge part of my childhood...and fishing of course Probably a good thing that my little brother lives so far away...Nick's worth every penny but I'm sure I could bribe Chad for much cheaper!! are you listening little brother?? hehehe

After what Dad told me from their last visit to see you in VA I'm not at all surprised! He's pretty much convinced that you're nuts at this point The ride I gave him this past weekend in the 'Vette was mild compared to what he got from you

I wish you lived close enough to help me mod mine!! It might not be as fast as yours but she still looks good! Besides...I can always make her faster!! hehehe

You guys are too funny! The family does have a nice trio of black cars going: Cindy's Corvette, Larry's Charger SRT-8, and my Camaro Z28. We hope to add another soon, our parents are looking at a new triple black Mustang GT convertible.

So, we now know which of our three cars is the shiniest (thanks to Nick!) but nobody has asked which of the three black cars is the fastest?
