    Re: Hummer H1 detail

Man tonka toys rocked when I was a kid!

There used to be an H1 in dallas that had a special parking spot cuz it was so wide! Talked to the guy once and he said he loves it and hates it, he finally saved up for another DD and said he just pulls it out for fun now.

Haha oh man I just realized a joke for that last part of the sentence but cant say it on here

These days, that’s all they sell. GM discontinued the H1 in 2006. Now they only sell the H2 and H3.

Note that the H1 was the only one designed by AM General and related to the military HMMWV. The H2 and H3 are GM products, derived from Chevy/GMC truck families.

That’s because it was never supposed to be an “SUV,” or anything else civilian. It was designed from the ground up as a military transporter. Civilian use was an afterthought.

Besides, it’s not about comfort. It’s about accessories...

        Looks Great!
        Interesting Interior.
I would have to polish that big rig, or shine the tires

You would think that for a $115,000 vehicle that it would have leather seats...not crushed velvet like the freaking base model malibu. GM, you disappoint me again.

The detailing work looks great though!
If a tree falls in the forest and there's nobody there to record the event, how can you be certain that there was a tree or even a forest to begin with?
