  • MQM Detailing: BMW 325xi

Here is one of the cars I recently detailed. The owner keeps it in good shape. All I have is After Shots for this car. The car had some Swirls, and the paint thickness was hard.

    Process:

Wash:Gold Class Wash, 2 Buckets, Grit Guards
    Clay: Smooth Surface Kit
    Polish: M105/205 by Polishing Pad/DA
Wax: NXT 2.0 Wax by Finishing Pad/DA
    Finish: Last Touch

    Wheels: QWD, APC+
    Tires: Wesley's,Hot Shine Gel

Windows: Detailer Line Glass Cleaner, RainX

    Headlights: PlastX By Drill

    Interior:
    Vacuum
    APC+--Little Green Machine
    Supreme Shine Protectant
    Detailer Line Leather Conditioner

Here are a few pics, I was busy and didn't have much time with it, but here's what I got:

    Thanks For Looking

Looks Good! Did you get any flash shots?

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

Looks great! Incidentally, how do you clean the drill pad from your headlight restoration kit?

Looks great. That paint can be incredibly difficult to work on.

What level of correction would you say you achieved when inspecting in full/direct sun?

Nice work, for sure! I'm wondering how many passes were necessary with M105 on a polishing pad, then with M205?

                    Thanks for your comments

Yeah, the paint was very hard. Instead of the normal 1-2 pass method I normally use, I had to do about 3 Passes with M105 and 2 with M205. Great Car though.
