  • 1968 Ford Mustang GT

So the owner wanted me to "freshen" up the look of his 1968 Ford Mustang GT, because it was "shameful" to be seen in due to how dirty it was. Unfortunately, he didn't want the works with swirl removal because he was eventually going to get a repaint because he needed to get some body work done on the rust spots.

    Wash with ONR
Wheels with Multi Piece Wheel Cleaner
Tires with APC with Foam Sprayer
Trim with NXT All Metal Polysh
    Hard Top with ASD
    Tires With ASD
(Tires and Hard top sucked up the ASD like that so I soaked them down and let them sit with ASD, then wiped off excess)
    Vacuum interior
Glass with D Line Glass Cleaner
    M20

    Before:

(sorry I didn't snag a before of one with the GT on the hub)

    After:

Keep in mind this car is still being restored and is located outside at a house on the bluffs of the Ocean, so the metal needs to be replaced in many areas.

Luckily He is going to have me detail his 67 Mustang and let me do all my magic on it, as it is fully restored

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.

Great work, very nice improvement for a wash & wax. Awesome car (of course I'm biased LOL)

Fantastic! Makes me want to fire up my 1969 Mustang coupe project that I gave up on 6 years ago.

Very nice, Andrew! I know that took a lot of work. Are you doing that sweet 56 Ford next?

I'm wondering if you can save the videos you create at that site to your computer? Loved the old music too!!! Takes me back... <--- This guy keeps perfect time to that song.

I believe you can download the videos if you get a full length video made which you have to pay something like $3 for. I've never actually done it though
