08 Honda Civic SI detailed

KerrinJeff and I had the opportunity to do some corrective work on an already amazing looking Civic SI this weekend. The owner is a forum member and detailing enthusiast so he was very aware of what he wanted and what it should look like when finished.
The car had been recently clayed so that didn't need to be re-accomplished. All before pics are post wash.

Here are some before's:


The roof had some hologramming






And the afters:


Holograms removed on the roof.





We did have an issue on the rear fender under the license plate. As the PC was being used on this area, 2 areas of paint came off. (I've got to get pics) We can't figure out what happened, as the rest of the area is fine, the trunk was up so the area is bigger than the before pic below. The owner was understanding, but we are going to order the paint and touch it up, clear it, and then wet sand and polish the area out to correct it.


Process used:
Meg's Gold class wash
M205 on Flex/green pad
scratches used a combo of hand and P/C with green pad and 95/205
Topped with NXT and M26
We'll post pics of the 2 areas and the finished touch up as they happen.

That's a real nice car my freind!

The color is really beautifull.

I've got a '93 hatch,but the blue is not as nice as that.It's a bight lighter.

Thats the civic i initially wanted but couldn't afford so had to settle with the LX. Car looks awesome! The second to last pic is my favorite. Great job!

Keep it up guys! Im wondering though, i was not too into detailing a few years back in Az. how is it waxing the car even in the garage hehe. I miss the 194 degrees

one word....*****!
Fortunately it has been an extremely mild June we are still waiting for trips, which will happen later this week, but we did that car on Sat and we had our house open until 1pm. We have detailed cars into the 110's and you have to be aware that you're working time is extremely reduced. Especially on the rotary. Just keep the Powerades, Gatorades and water a flowin'!

Well, we haven't had to break out the oven mitts yet this year, so far so good!

Guys, thanks for the great work!! It truly looks a lot better than the previous detail that was performed. That Fiji Blue is just a stunning color now!! Boy, I am jealous that she has this color and I have plain ol' silver .

Furthermore, I really appreciate both of you correcting the problem that occurred while buffing the rear bumper area. Truly shows great customer service.

As a side note, my girlfriend has already recieved numerous compliments and has other people interested in more detail work for you guys, including my own car.

Just want to thank Jeff and Mike for the touch-up on the rear bumper area. It looks a heck of a lot better and you can't really tell that it had paint missing in the area!

Also, these guys provide very good customer service and I will recommend them to anybody that I know that wants detailing done. This level of service is hard to find these days.

I can't wait to have my own car detailed soon from Jeff and Mike. Thanks again!
