How about a quickie, just using NXT with a polishing pad on a 1997 Mercedes S420?

As usual Scott, great work!!! I really like your #80 and NXT combo... Whenever you post your results, it really makes me wanna try #80!!! Lol!

BTW, how much did you charge for the silver MB? I mean you just waxed it, right?

Bri-I charged $120 for a full detail, it would have been $150. He just wanted a one step on the exterior and since it belongs to a regular customer and was in excellent shape, I didn't see a real need to do a two step job. He is selling the car and just wanted to get it in shape to sell.

              Scott,

For your $150 full detail job, do you do the interior also? I mean full detail the interior? Thanks.

                  Scott,

I notice that you use a polishing pad when applying NXT. Why not use a finishing pad? Is it because NXT has mild cleaners and you will be topping it later?

If you were using a pure wax or sealant (no cleaners) would you still use a polishing pad?

                  Great work.

                  Thanks.

                    Scott,
If that is your garage behind the rolls, I am extremely envious. You could fit a school bus in there.
That rolls is incredible. Those cars are so beautiful. Also great job on the vette, that is the best paint on a black vette I have ever seen.

Just curious Scott, why are you using a polishing pad instead of finishing pad to apply NXT?

Yes. In California I could get $200-250 for the same work...but the cost of living is also a lot higher.

RC46 and HotRodGuy-I use a polishing pad for NXT because it seems to work better than a finishing pad. NXT is the only last step product I apply by machine. Everything else is by hand, so I almost never use a finishing pad.

Lt1Corvette-I wish that was my garage. BTW, it is going to have a new inhabitant...he ordered a Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster, should be here before the end of the year.
