This past weekend I worked on a friends car. I didn't catch the year so I can only assume it's a 2005-2006. She was mainly concerned about having the seats cleaned up and the outside waxed. The body is in good condition but the paint had quite a bit of bonded contaminants as well as water etching on the hood along with some scratches here and there.

The car was washed with gold class
Clayed with the agressive Red
Polished with #80 and W-7006 on the G110 followed by #80 again on a W-8006

This scuff required some M105 with the rotory followed by #80. This shot was taken before #80.

Cleaning the windows is the last thing I usually do. When it came time to clean these windows I noticed some staining that just wouldn't come off after several wipes. So I decided to give some M105 a try and what do you know.

All clean. Now this was on all but the windshield rear and passenger side windows.

All in all it took me 14 hours. The headliner was also cleaned up along with the door jambs and gas cap area. I was bummed that I didn't deliver the car to the client directly. I like to go over everything that was done just to double check I didn't miss anything in particular. Now the paint is not 100% swirl free. I say it's more like 70% which is much better than I was aiming to get it. Client was extremely happy based on the text I received this morining which made me feel at ease knowing I exceeded the customers expectations and that's nice to know.
Thanks all for checking this out.
