  • Black Autox Miata - Drastic Changes

This car almost put me into retirement! I've always thought SUV's were my least favorite vehicle to work on but boy was I wrong. What miata's lack in surface area they make up in back breaking lowness. At times I had to just lay on the floor to buff the lower panels.

This car is relatively new to the current owner and is used as a auto-cross car. The new owner wanted me to remove the sticky residue left by the stickers from racing. The clear coat felt very dry and lacked nutrients and the paint condition overall was poor. Thank you to the Meguiars community for suggesting WD40 to remove the sticky residue as it did the trick!

Hey All, I'm just looking for some suggestion on this one. I have a customer that would like to have some sticky residue removed from his car. Apparently it was left by an autocross event and the vinyl stickers that are used. Thoughts? Thanks.

Anyways here are the before and afters:

What a crappy place to put the trunk lock, it's just inviting scratches...
