    Hello All,

    Here is today's accomplishment. This customer was mainly interested in spot buffing some damaged areas and debadging the rear emblems. This is what was completed:

    Bad scratches on rear hatch caused by jumping dog:


    Deeper scratch on rear bumper:

    This was the easiest color I've ever had to work on. Surprisingly the 105/205 combo wasn't doing the trick so I switched over to SIP and IP. For some reason this car loved mezerna products which is exactly opposite of the corvette that I posted a few days ago.

          GREAT JOB! Learned something new....you can take those stupid badges off w/ dental floss and WD40....COOL!!!! New tool in my tool box. Gotta love MOL!

            Actually I suggest fishing line instead. Dental floss is the only line I could find at the time. The wd40 on the other hand ROCKS! Just let it soak for about an hour.

              I've heard people question the integrity of Menzerna. One person had a question over Menzerna just adding oils and "swelling" the paint and not actually cutting the swirls out.

              His test was on a customer car and 2 days after he used Menzerna, the swirls came back.

              I've never used Menzerna, but that is a fun test if anyone has some extra product laying around.
