2008 Chevy Silverado

I did this truck today for my neighbor at a reduced price. Lately he has been helping me out with a lot of things so I offered to do his truck for a very low price. Started aound 8 am and finished up around twenty minutes ago. This truck had a lot of bonded contaminants and a lot of tar in the wheelwells. I have never clayed a vechile for this long. It was so bad I could actually see where I did and did not clay. I did the interior but I forgot to take pictures of that. I am keeping the truck overnight so I can add the last coat of wax in the morning and do the final inspection for any missed spots. Heres my process and pics:

Process:

1. Wash with Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner
2. Clay with Smooth Surface Clay Kit and Last Touch Spray Detailer
3. Remover Swirls and scratches with a combination of Ultimate Compound and SwirlX.
4. COLORx
5. NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0- x2 by tomorrow morning.

Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner
#40 - Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner
Hot Rims Chrome Polish
Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Gel

Still some light swirls left that I could have gotten out but the owner told me just to move on.




















While were on the topic of Silverados, yesterday i got to finally clean my truck. It hasnt been touched in three weeks. All igot a chance to use was wash it with Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner, spray wax it with Ultimate Quik Wax and throw some Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Gel on the tires.

Jeez, I can't even imagine that. And in one day, no less? Hats off to you. The last time I did a multistep polish on a car I was about 17 years old. I stepped back, admired what a good job I did, and said to myself, "never again."

I kept the truck overnight, so I had it for a day and a half.
