Hello Meguiars Family,
I completed yet another full exterior detail for a customer on Memorial day and wanted to share the before/after pictures. This job took approximately 10 hours without breaks and I still didn't finish in time. The after pictures were taken a couple days later since I ran out of time and daylight the first night.
Before:

During Washing:
Meguiars D108 Super Degrease 4:1 soaking (30 seconds)

After Wash:

Easy stuff is done - Time for the real work to begin
Claying, wet sanding, buffing

2'x2' roof section

Taping off delicate objects. (Batman anyone?)

2500 grit soaking

This customer had great concerns about one paticular scratch on his front hood which was caused by bird feces which was wiped off.

Break time (arms were killing me) - Does everything get disorganized for you when detailing? lol

I had to try out my new toys! Buff & Shine backing plate and pad

Wet sanding scratches left by bird feces as mentioned above.

Roof was hurtin

Just a cool pic I snapped and wanted to share

After: (2 days later, ran out of time the first night)

Scratch was removed after wet sanding and 3 hits with a So1o Heavy cutting pad at 1800 rpms.

Black WOW was another recent purchase I got to use for the first time.

Black WOW magic at work again.

Another shot of hood and scratch removal:

The Money Shot:

I went through many different combination's of products but I found that the M105 and M205 saved the day again. I attempted Mezerna's IP and SIP first with unsatisfying results. Pads used: WWHC7, W72O7B, & Soft Buff Polishing/Finishing pad.
Customer was very happy and loved that the scratch on the hood was removed. I have two more jobs next weekend so I'll make sure to document them well.
