I did this truck Thursday night, just havent had time to post it. This is a mudding/fishing truck. It was in pretty bad shape, mud, millions of stone chips, scratches etc.

The owner just wanted all dirt and grime removed but I decided to throw in a good claying and an AIO.

    Process:

    1. Wash with Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner
    2. liberally spray Gold Class Bug & Tar Remover everywhere.

    3. Clay with Smooth Surface Clay Kit and Quik Detailer (Trigger)
    4. #6 - Cleaner Wax- x2 on hood and tailgate

    Other Products Used:

Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Gel
    Quik Wheel Detailer
    #40 - Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner

Tuck, you never do cease to amaze me. How you can take anything and make it shine I'll never know. What else can I say? Great job!

By the way, how do you like #6 compared to Cleaner Wax (in the maroon bottle) and ColorX? Any pros, cons, advantages, etc? Just wondering...

        Looks good Nick!

Did you only wax the hood and tailgate? or was it just M06 on the hood and tailgate and some other LSP on the rest of the truck?

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

        I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
        Remove swirls my friends.

It seems the same as the other AIO, but I think M06 has a little more cut.
It depends what mood I am in, sometimes I like using ColorX but for this M06 was better.

I applied M06 to the entire truck and then went over the hood and tailate a second time, the paint was a little dull on the hood and tailgate and I thought a second pass would be good.
