    Re: '95 Chevy K1500 Suburban

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like it! Of course, Murphy is outside playing his game, it's pouring down rain, and the truck is soaked. The NXT wax seems to be doing quite well though. I think some UQD is in order once it stops.

For the test spots, it was one application of UC, with plenty of 'passion' to work it in. That's pretty much how I did the whole truck. Then followed with the wax.

Ha, the front plate is something she picked out herself at the shop where I got my blue 'oldschool' bowtie plate for my truck (in the last pic). She's a pretty interesting lady.

My father wants me to detail his black '07 BMW M Coupe now... I guess I need to read up on BMW paint! I'll be sure to post pics whenever I get around to the job.

About 6hrs away, it appears. I'm right around 100miles east of Memphis, in the middle of nowhere.

At least I don't have to worry about door-dings.

Thanks guys! It's really rewarding to see the difference.

I don't quite remember how nice the paint was when we bought it new (I was 4 years old at the time!) but I do remember my mother outside all the time detailing it, and modifying it! It's all back to stock now though. That truck has been all across the country, to 49 of the 50 states (missing Hawaii). I'd say it's had a pretty good life, we plan on keeping it until the wheels fall off. It has a lot sentimental value, and too little monetary value.

Shoot, I grew up with this thing! It's like a sibling!

Funny how cars can mean so much to people, eh?

That is seriously impressive work by hand. That Suburban probably looks better than the day you bought it.

We used to, back in the day. We moved out here to TN after 9/11 (closer to family). Really miss it.

Thanks! She's still in awe, and says she's going to have to build a garage to put it in. Kinda late for that, I'm thinking.
