I did complete detailing earlier this summer on my 1996 Ford Contour with some of the Meguiars products (#7, #26, Mediallion PPP, etc). I still have yet to try the NXT wax. Paint is almost 9 years old, and IMO looks better than the day I bought it!

Ford did not make the SVT Contour in 1996. I think believe has modded his to look like an SVT. You are tight too bad Ford does not make the SVT Contour anymore. Maybe Ford should import the Mondeo ST220.

you are correct. Ford only made the svt contour from 98-00, so a lot of modification was done to the front fascia to fit. Ive also added a Mirko front splitter. In addition to the aesthetics, ive swapped out the 2.5L engine with a 3.0L, and added the Arizona Dyno Chip turbo kit. Its definetely fun to drive!

And gb387, watch out for those contours in Des Moines. The guy that built my motor lives in Des Moines and drives a 400 whp 3.0L supercharged svt contour.
