  • AJ Auto Detai: Last Few Details

These cars are from my first two days of summer break.

    Pontiac Solstice

This car is owned by my client with the BMW 750Li which I take care of on a weekly basis. He was on the other side of town for a business meeting, so he told me to take care of his toy instead. He won it in a raffle, but does not have any desire to drive it. So, he allows employees to take turns taking it out to lunch and sometimes have it for the weekend. I did this car a few months back, and has not been touched since then. It has 7,000 miles on it so it was not bad at all since its kept in a warehouse. Client used the last wash on his maintenance plan on this.

    Process:

Foam: Chemical Guys Citrus Wash Clear
Wash: Chemical Guys Citrus Wash + Gloss
Bugs: Chemical Guys Bug & Tar Remover
Wheels: Chemical Guys Citrus Wheel Gel
Tires: Chemical Guys Super Orange Degreaser
Wells: Chemical Guys Super Orange Degreaser
    Tires: Chemical Guys VRP
    Wells: Stoners Trim Shine
Tips: Meguiars Mag & Al Polish
    Carpet: Vacuum
    Plastic: Steam
    Leather: Steam
    Glass: Chemical Guys Window Clean
    Scent: Chemical Guys Leather Scent

    GMC Acadia

This is car 1 of 2 that is owned by this client. She is a seldom user of car washes, but when does have it done its by Benny's (express place who half *** their jobs). Just wanted the interior cleaned up well and the paint protected. When she saw the finished product, she said "Oh yeah, forget Benny's!". She immediately scheduled her cars to be done again in a month.

    Process:

Foam: Chemical Guys Citrus Wash Clear
Wash: Chemical Guys Citrus Wash + Gloss
Bugs: Chemical Guys Bug & Tar Remover
Wheels: Chemical Guys Citrus Wheel Gel
Tires: Chemical Guys Super Orange Degreaser
Wells: Chemical Guys Super Orange Degreaser
    Tires: Chemical Guys VRP
    Wells: Stoners Trim Shine
Tips: Meguiars Mag & Al Polish
Paint: Chemical Guys Jet Seal 109
    Carpet: Vacuum
    Plastic: Steam
    Leather: Steam
    Glass: Chemical Guys Window Clean
    Scent: Chemical Guys Leather Scent

    Dodge Ram 3500

This is car 2 of 2 that is owned by this client. This is their truck they use to pull their horse trailer and camper trailer. Not used for really anything else. Like the Acadia, a quick Wash/Protect + interior. Was so tired after these two big rigs I forgot to take interior pics of the RAM...

    Process:

Foam: Chemical Guys Citrus Wash Clear
Wash: Chemical Guys Citrus Wash + Gloss
Bugs: Chemical Guys Bug & Tar Remover
Wheels: Chemical Guys Citrus Wheel Gel
Tires: Chemical Guys Super Orange Degreaser
Wells: Chemical Guys Super Orange Degreaser
    Tires: Chemical Guys VRP
    Wells: Stoners Trim Shine
Paint: Chemical Guys Jet Seal 109
    Carpet: Vacuum
    Plastic: Steam
    Leather: Steam
    Glass: Chemical Guys Window Clean
    Scent: Chemical Guys Leather Scent

Great job! I like that Acadia. Did you not clay the Acadia or the Ram before you sealed the paint?
