Here’s the wifes 2000 mustang that is just put about 22 hours into the outside. I bought it for her about a year ago, and other than waxing twice a year, I haven’t really had the time to work on it. She asked me to buff her mustang, so I said of course. Boy I did not know what I was getting myself into. The paint was trashed. The clear coat is failing in places, the door has been repainted and they did a terrible job at it, the paint is actually pealing off in places. The hood and trunk looks like someone had taken a rake to it. I ended up wet sanding the hood in a few places and the entire trunk.
My Process:
Degreased under the hood, door jambs, trunk jambs, and wheel wells with purple power.
