  • Presidential Detailed: 2003 350Z(1-step correction)

This job was only a 1-step correction)basic) exterior detail, and with Nissans clear being relatively hard I was only able to get a small amount of correction even when using M105/yellow polishing foam using the KBPCM. Luckily this car was very well maintained, so it only added to the cleanliness. Even though the customer was only paying for a 1-step correction I found myself fighting for that extra little bit of correction.

    Before.

    Prepping to Polish.

My test panels to find which method worked best.

I wish ADS had it, but Rick only has the blue painters tape. Phil at Detailers Domain has the green. That's where I get mine.

Looks like you did a great job for a 1-step, what wax or sealant did you end up going with?

Thanks! The wheels are a sorta silverish gunmetal color.

ALL?? Because in every pic that has the front left wheel in it, the face looks darker than the others

Yep, they are ALL the same. They sort of change with lighting and the front wheel in those shots were just more in the shade causing them to look a bit darker.
