I just got done detailing a brand new CC. It is black metallic and was filled with swirls from the dealership. The owner just wanted it to be polished and waxed.

The paint on this vehicle was VERY soft compared to other cars. I did a test spot and it looked terrible/worse, but then I followed with DC1 Paint Cleaner and it looked perfect. So my process was:

    1. Wash- 2 Buckets, Grit Guards, MF Wash Mitts
    2. Clay (Not really needed)
    3. SwirlX By Hand
    4. DC Step 1 Paint Cleaner
    5. DC2 Pure Polish by hand
    6. NXT Wax by hand

Wheels: APC+, All Wheel Cleaner, Quik Wheel Detailer
Tires: Wesley's, and Gold Class Endurance High Gloss Gel

    Windows: Glass Cleaner Concentrate, RainX

Here are a few after pics. I was in a hurry as usual so there isn't many:

Thanks for looking, I also did the Chrysler 300C in the background, but no pics this time.

    Thanks for looking

Looks good, sounds like you have some sore arms.

Only suggestion is make sure to clean the wheel wells and dress them (last picture)

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

wow, all that by hand, whew!! I can't beleive I ever did any of that by hand, I would die without my G110 now, its so much easier on the body. The car looks awesome though! I love those new CC's, so glad they changed up the sedan a little.

                        Looks nice!

But how about some full sun shots with the sun reflecting off of the paint? That way we can see the paint without the dealer installed swirls!!!
